These Terms govern your use of Budget Buddy. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

The service

Budget Buddy imports and organizes transaction information, supports budgeting, and provides automated financial insights. You remain responsible for reviewing imported information and making your own financial decisions.

Not financial advice

Budget Buddy provides informational tools only. It is not a bank, accountant, investment adviser, or financial adviser. The service does not guarantee that imported data, categories, budgets, exchange rates, or AI-generated responses are complete or accurate.

Your account and permissions

You are responsible for safeguarding your account and for activity under it. You must have the right to connect any Google Account you authorize. Gmail access is optional and can be disconnected at any time.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, reverse engineer it except where law permits, or use it to violate another person's rights or applicable law.

Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features as Budget Buddy evolves. We may update these Terms and will publish the new effective date on this page.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using Budget Buddy at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations of these Terms, security risks, or legal requirements.
